Privacy policy
Last updated October 28, 2026.
We respect your privacy. This page explains what this website and our shop collect, and how we use it.
Information you give us
When you send a message, we receive the details you enter, such as your name, email address, phone number and message. We use them only to reply and to help with your request. We never sell your information.
Orders
When you order online, we collect your name, email address and, if you choose shipping, your mailing address. We use them to fill your order and to email you about it. Card payments are handled by Stripe, and we never see or keep your card number. Orders are kept in our records for as long as tax law requires.
The Marginalia Dispatch
If you sign up for our monthly email, we’ll write once or twice a month about staff picks, readings and what’s new. Each message has an unsubscribe link, and we’ll remove you the same day if you ask. We never share the list.
Information collected automatically
This site uses privacy-friendly analytics that count visits without cookies and without identifying you personally.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information you have sent us at any time by emailing hello@marginaliabooks.com.
